Pros and cons of Chambers Thesaurus app for iPhone and iPad

Chambers Thesaurus app good for

Great supplement with the Chambers Dictionary. Stable app. Great synonyms, and cross references. Both apps at 4.99/each beat all other dictionaries in the app store- even the notorious Oxford dictionaries.
Its far from perfect and nothing can match the Rogets in book form, but it sure beats the other apps including the one thats called Rogets but really isnt.
This thesaurus is great. Its the only thesaurus I have found on the app store that categorizes which of the words are formal and/or colloquial. My only complaint is that the red background of the icon is a different shade of red than that of the Chambers dictionary icon. It kind of annoys me.
True to the print edition, this app is perfect for crosswords. The search feature allows for fuzzy matching, which is incredibly useful.
I thought the simple new icon was great. But this one is ok too. Great tool. Thx
There are some word-processing functions I must use my Windows ; (. Laptop for, and I keep my iPad next to me so I can use this app and the Chambers dictionary app. This is indispensable to me, easy to use with many suggestions. Well worth the small cost.

Some bad moments

Basic free apps are a lot better than this crap. The words are extremely limited, example being antlers. Thesaurus.com easily brings it up but this app doesnt even recognize it. Best bet, open your web browser and go to thesaurus.com. 0 stars.
This app feels like they just repurposed Apples stock thesaurus and strapped a price tag on it. Very disappointed with the meager vocabulary this thesaurus offers. A waste of time and money.
